\r\nThe\u00a0St. Mark\u2019s Square<\/strong>\u00a0is considered the Louge Room of\u00a0Venice<\/a>. In this space were and are all hosted major events of the city life.<\/p>\r\n\r\n From the construction of\u00a0Basilica of San Mark<\/a>\u00a0that backdrop, the square was enlarged, with the silting of the channel\u00a0Botario<\/strong>\u00a0which crossed about halfway through the space of the square. These buildings, Italian Byzantine style, and in one plane only, are those which can be seen in the context of\u00a0Gentile Bellini<\/a>, painted in 1496, representing a procession in\u00a0Square of S. Mark<\/strong>, and those that are represented by the plant\u00a0Venice<\/a>, carved in wood in 1500, and attributed to Albert Durer.<\/p>\r\n
