Premio Arte Laguna: Inaugurazione Mostra Finalisti

L'Arsenale di Venezia ospita anche per la quinta edizione la mostra collettiva del Premio Internazionale Arte Laguna, uno fra i più importanti happening di arte contemporanea, che si contraddistingue per l’alto livello qualitativo delle opere proposte, l’attenzione verso i talenti emergenti e le collaborazioni con il mondo imprenditoriale.

La collettiva raccoglie i lavori dei 110 artisti finalisti suddivisi tra pittura, scultura, arte fotografica, video arte e performing art. Un percorso affascinante da vivere e assaporare all'interno dell'Arsenale veneziano che apre le sue porte il 12 marzo 2011 alle ore 18.00 presentando un accurato allestimento, studiato per creare un’atmosfera esclusiva in cui l’arte sarà l’unica protagonista.

Focus della serata saranno le premiazioni dei 5 vincitori assoluti, 37 vincitori delle mostre personali in gallerie italiane e straniere, 4 Artist in Residence, 1 Premio Business for Art, la menzione speciale della stampa e l'assegnazione delle partecipazioni ai Festival Open e TinaB.

Il giorno successivo 13 marzo alle ore 11.00 si terrà un interessante incontro/dibattito con il curatore del premio Igor Zanti e i collezionisti d'arte dell'Associazione Giovani Collezionisti di Roma, l'incontro è aperto a tutti.

Nello stesso periodo, dal 12 al 22 marzo, la selezione dei migliori artisti Under 25 avrà uno spazio privilegiato in una mostra allestita presso l'Istituto Romeno di Cultura e Ricerca Umanistica di Venezia, che ha sede nello storico Palazzo Correr in Campo Santa Fosca.

La mostra sarà visitabile fino al 22 marzo 2011 tutti i giorni dalle 10 alle 20 con ingresso gratuito.

The Arsenale of Venice will host the 5th edition of the collective exhibition of the Arte Laguna International Prize, one of the most important happenings of contemporary art, which is characterized by high quality works of art, attention to emerging talents and collaborations with the world of business.

The exhibition gathers the artworks of 110 finalist artists divided into different sections: painting, sculpture, photographic art, video and performing art. A fascinating path to live and enjoy through the Venetian Arsenale that is opening its doors on 12th March 2011 at 6 pm with an accurate set up, designed to create an exclusive atmosphere where Art will be the only protagonist

The highlights of the event will be the award ceremony of the 5 absolute winners, 37 winners of the personal exhibition in Italian and International galleries, 4 Artists in Residence, 1 Business for Art Prize, the special comment of the press and the election of the participants to Open and TinaB Festivals.

On the following day, 13th March at 11 am, there will be an interesting debate with the curator of the Prize Igor Zanti and the art collectors of the Association “Giovani Collezionisti di Roma”, the meeting is open to the public.

During the same period, from 12th to 22nd March, the best artists of under 25 section will exhibit their artworks in the special venue of Istituto Romeno di Cultura e Ricerca Umanistica of Venice, in the famous Palazzo Correr, Campo Santa Fosca.

The exhibition can be visited every day until the 22nd March 2011 from 10 am to 8 pm, free entry.
